Convert a PDF to a QR code
Teachers hand out worksheets, companies share manuals, events share schedules: upload the PDF, print the code on paper or show it on a screen, and people open it on their phone. No website, no drive permissions.
How to convert a PDF to a QR code
- Choose a PDF up to 10 MB (50 MB with a free account)
- Name the code so people know what it is, e.g. "Science worksheet unit 3"; they see the name before opening
- Press "Create QR code"; after the virus scan the file is live and you can download the code
How is this different from sharing a Google Drive link?
No access permissions to set, no request-access page, and when you edit the file and upload it again the same code opens the new version, unlike Drive links that often change when a file is replaced.
How do teachers use it?
Print the code in a corner of the worksheet or show it on the projector; students open the worksheet or answer key on their phone. When you fix the worksheet, upload the new version to the same code and later scans get the latest file.
FAQ
Where is the file stored, is it safe?
On qrfast servers, reachable only by people who have the link or the code. Every file is virus-scanned before it is served; infected files are deleted immediately.
Can I delete the file?
Yes, press "Delete permanently" in the manage link or the dashboard. The file is removed from our server right away and printed codes show "QR code not found". To change the file instead, replace it.
