How to make a map QR code
- Open Google Maps, find your pin, tap Share and copy the link (or type the name, address or coordinates instead)
- Paste it into the place field, name the code, e.g. "Directions", and set a caption like "Scan to navigate"
- Press "Create QR code", download it for business cards, invitations or street signs, then scan to check the location
Pin link, place name or coordinates?
A pin link shared from Google Maps is the most precise because it points to your exact listing. A place name works when it is unique. Coordinates suit places without a listing, such as a private venue or a meeting point.
Can I use it on wedding invitations?
Yes, it is a popular use. Print the code in a corner and guests navigate to the venue. Pair it with an event code so they can also save the date to their calendar.
