Free Google Form QR code

Paste the responder link of your Google Form. The code is dynamic, so when this round closes and a new form opens, point the same code at the new form and keep the posters.

How to make a Google Form QR code

  1. In Google Forms press "Publish" first if the form is not published yet, then "Published" > "Copy responder link" — skip "Shorten URL": the full link shows docs.google.com, so scanners can see it is a Google form
  2. Paste it as the destination and name the code, e.g. "Workshop registration 20 Oct"
  3. Press "Create QR code" and download it for posters, slides or notice boards

How do I know how many scanners actually filled the form?

Compare scans in the manage link with responses in Google Forms. Many scans but few answers usually means the form is too long or requires a Google login; try turning off "Limit to 1 response", which makes respondents sign in to a Google Account.

Does it work with Microsoft Forms or Typeform?

Yes, use the website link type and paste that form link; same idea.

FAQ

What happens after I close the form?

Scanners see the Google "no longer accepting responses" page. To avoid that, point the code at a results page or pause the code from the manage link.
