Dynamic vs static QR codes: the difference and which to choose
Dynamic QR codes can be edited and tracked but depend on a service and show a landing page with ads. Static codes never change and depend on no one.
Personal accounts use the My QR code link, Official Accounts the @ID, groups the invite link. Where to find each in LINE, and what to check if adding fails.

On the LINE QR code page, pick the option that matches your account and paste the right thing. For a personal account, use the link from "My QR code" in the LINE app, or your LINE ID if "Allow others to add me by ID" is on. For a LINE Official Account, use its ID that starts with @. For a group, use the group's invite link. People who scan see one qrfast landing page, tap the button to continue, and LINE opens the screen where they add you or join the group.
LINE is the everyday chat app for many people in Japan, Taiwan and Thailand, so a LINE code at your counter lets those customers reach you in the app they already use.
LINE is rolling out a menu redesign, so if a step doesn't match your phone, check LINE's guide to adding friends.
This link doesn't rely on ID search, so it works even if you never set a LINE ID. That matters for visitors from Japan: LINE restricts ID search for accounts verified with a Japanese phone number until the user completes age verification (18 or older), and suggests adding friends by QR code instead (LINE Help).
According to LINE Help, an ID can't be changed or deleted once set, so if you don't have one yet, the "My QR code" link is simpler.
Scanners see your account's profile in LINE and tap to add it; if they're already friends, LINE opens the chat instead. If you already have an add-friend link that starts with lin.ee, choose "line.me / group link" and paste that instead.
Link invites only work while the person inviting has "Invite by link or QR code" turned on, under the menu icon at the top of the group chat, then "Settings" (LINE's steps).
The landing page shows the code's name, the destination domain (line.me or lin.ee) and a continue button such as "Continue to line.me →". Tapping it opens the LINE app. If a LINE web page appears first, tap "Open LINE".
For no page in between, print the QR code that the LINE app or LINE Official Account Manager gives you. A qrfast code trades that extra page for a destination you can change later, your own logo and caption, and scan counts.
Open the manage link, paste the new link into "Destination link" and tap "Save". The printed code sends people to the new account straight away, whether you moved from a personal account to an Official Account or regenerated your "My QR code" link. Official Account links use the format https://line.me/R/ti/p/%40yourID, where %40 stands for @, according to LINE's documentation.
The manage link also shows "Total scans" and "Continue rate", which counts people who tapped the button on the landing page. It can't tell whether they actually added you, so compare it with your new friends in LINE.

Enter the network name, password and security type exactly as on your router. iPhone and Android cameras can scan it. A new password needs a new code.
Publish the form, turn the responder link into a dynamic QR code, stop forced sign-ins, reuse the code next round and compare scans with responses.
